Abstract

Gratitude and fear of missing out (FoMO) may offer different perspectives on psychological wellbeing, but their association does not establish that gratitude protects against the consequences of FoMO. This study examined their relationships using responses to the Gratitude Questionnaire–6, the ten-item FoMO Scale, and an 18-item Ryff wellbeing questionnaire. The source file contained 160 submissions collected between January and March 2025. Restricting the analysis to ages 18–25 with undergraduate or postgraduate educational background, and retaining the earliest submission per email address, produced a primary sample of 136 records. All scale items were complete.
